A few years ago Colton’s parents opened a small café in the center of our hometown. It’s one of the few places I know that garners patrons for both its food and its atmosphere. When Colton and I come to town we head to the shop if we want to see family. It’s only there that at any given time we can be certain we’ll see, at the least, both parents, a few sisters, some grandparents, a couple aunts and uncles, and the occasional cousin. The better half of Central Oregon is almost always in attendance as well.


Yay for small, family run businesses. And good food.
