When Jessie and I stepped into the girls' room at the Westin Virginia Beach last Saturday we immediately knew the day ahead would be a great one. As Christine sat beneath the buttery morning light at the far corner of the room, her maids scurried from wall to wall in search of anything they could do to keep the Bride relaxed. The excitement toward the day only grew as we moved from the Westin to the Lesner Inn where the afternoon festivities were held. With Lindsey of Simply Perfect Events on hand, no detail was too small to be overlooked. From coloring books for the children to the elegant Chivari chairs, the day was simply, well, simply perfect. Like most brides, Christine was nervous. And while her bridesmaids were nothing short of fabulous, what Christine was really looking for was Daniel. The moment Christine's eyes met Daniel's the nerves vanished and Christine was able to move from Fiance to Wife with joy and eager anticipation. Sometimes all it takes to make the world spin right is the glance from a Lover's eyes.
Christine has the ability to laugh and make the entire room light up. Incredible.
Christine's sister and Maid of Honor surprised the newlywed couple with a speech that left the whole room in tears. It was simple, heartfelt, and beautiful.
My word, you two are gorgeous. Seriously gorgeous.
Daniel and Christine, you two make a gorgeous couple. Thank you for letting me join you on the most special day of your lives and thank you for being wonderful. Your wedding was amazing and from this I can only conclude that your life together will be equally as amazing. Congrats and, really, live.it.up. in the Dominican Republic.
And a special thanks to Jessie for letting me join her at such a great wedding. Jessie, I think you're really great.
