I know you know this by now, but I really, truly, love my brides + grooms. I feel blessed to get to be part of their day and, so long as we’re being honest, I should mention that I kind of hope all my couples will want to be my friends. Real friends. Go out for drinks together, friends.
Topping the list of people I hope to stay in touch with forever are Bo and Griselda. Griselda is absolutely stunning, and so funny, and has the best sense of style. Bo is her handsome, kind, truly hilarious equal who makes everyone around him feel special. So it only makes sense that together these two couldn’t be any more perfect. Bo and Griselda were married earlier this month at St. Martin de Porres Catholic church before following up their ceremony with a reception at Black Gold in Yorba Linda. I had Colton by my side at this wedding and throughout the entire day I couldn’t help but pinch myself. How on earth did I get so lucky as to have a gorgeous bride and groom who were somehow even more kind than they were beautiful?! Or how about a mariachi band(!!!), an amazing reception venue that provided the most stunning evening light for sunset photos, and a family who welcomed us with open arms and made our entire day a breeze?!
Bo and Griselda, thank youuuuu!!! There aren’t enough words in the English language to sum up all the happiness in my heart. Colton and I think the world of you two and are so grateful you included us in your wedding day. Thanks for being the greatest, and then some.
Many thanks to Callie at Black Gold for being such an incredible coordinator. Callie made sure no detail was overlooked and even ensured we had plenty of time for sunset photos. I couldn't give her a big enough hug at the end of the evening. It was a true joy getting to work with such a professional team!
