Merry Christmas!

We have so much to be thankful for this year. A new home, in a new state. A new puppy who has absolutely rocked our world. A busy schedule, complete with travel all over the country. And friends and family who keep us humble in spirit and rich in love. Merry Christmas, World. May these next few days be merry and bright.

And yes, my dog is absolutely wearing a Christmas sweater.

Kelsi's Bridal Portraits Part II

Yesterday was perfect. A sweet and small and simple and beautiful ceremony with Kelsi + Matt's closest friends and family. It was everything a wedding should be and nothing it shouldn't be. And all of it was absolutely gorgeous. We're off to enjoy the rest of last night's mojito's while sitting by the pool and curing our post-shooting-a-wedding hangover...ironic that we're doing so with a mojito, no?!

Florida, you're not so bad.

Kelsi, I know I spent a long morning begging and pleading and promising my first born, but thank you for finally agreeing to try this fabulous red lipstick. It's absolutely perfect - just like you.

Happy Wednesday, Michelle

Kelsi's Bridal Portraits Part I

This pretty lady is getting married today!! While I will be shooting her wedding with one super sexy, ever handsome man named Colton, I think we get special privileges for being related to the bride. Including, but not limited to, having a few mojitos during cocktail hour and break dancing during the reception. Kelsi is in the other room getting ready and while I'm just about to join her, I thought today would be the perfect time to show the world these bridal portraits. Since Kelsi + Matt are having a destination wedding, I know there are a few handfuls of people who wish they could be joining us today. Here's a peak at the vintage strapless dress the bride will be wearing - worn last by her grandmother in the 1950's.

Happy Wedding Day, Kelsi + Matt.

Check back tomorrow for part II of Kelsi's bridal session.
