Colton and I flew into Grand Forks, North Dakota late last night and we're enjoying every part of our winter wonderland adventure before shooting Joe and Jill's wedding tomorrow afternoon. We managed to snap a few pictures outside before Jill's family spoiled us with good meals, local tours, and lots of warm hugs. I know we've only been here a few hours but they've already made us feel like family.

Wishing you and your families the most wonderful of Christmases. Today I'm thankful to be home with our family, for the sparkling white blanket of snow outside, for the warmly lit fireplace inside, and, most importantly, for a sweet baby Jesus who's birthday we're celebrating. We're finally at the one we've all been waiting for, the best of 2010's weddings! To say I feel blessed about all that's happened this year would be the most enormous of understatements. 2010 has been more than I could have ever hoped or imagined and to be honest this both excites me and mortifies me for the upcoming year! One thing I know to be true is that I am absolutely ecstatic about the brides and grooms I get to be photographing. Watch out, world, there are some gorgeous people getting married next year. Before I can officially get excited about shooting next year's weddings, I need to properly say goodbye to this year's amazing couples. I've spent an embarrassing amount of time sorting through all of this year's images in order to find the pictures that truly spoke to me. It was tough, but I've come up with a small collection of photographs that represent how I want a bride + groom to feel when they see their images for the first, second, and millionth time - timeless, genuine, and beautiful.
